Artist Bio
Artist, born and raised in the Hudson Valley, made in Brooklyn. Fenwick attended the College of Saint Rose in Albany and received a B.S. in Graphic Design. She landed in Park Slope, Bk March of 2001 with a design position on Wall Street. After years of corporate servitude, she now focuses happily on painting and writing. For Fenwick making art has been a response to constraints and structure. This lives at the forefront of the buildings she paints and the abstractions she creates.
Currently, her time is spent creating art, training with an incredible acting coach and coordinating events at one of her favorite buildings, the Old Stone House.
Artist Statement
My art is a reflection of the forms that frame community. Buildings and scenery have personalities of their own; I work to find a connection to represent that voice.
